Lyn Presents Award

A Team Merchandsing have been long term supporters of the Hardware industry. This was shown at the recent Victorian Hardware Industry Association Awards night where A Team Merchandising sponsored the Award for the best small independent store. Lyn Coghlan is pictured presenting the award to Paul Drake with the team from Ocean Grove Hardware.

Simone Neil – Business Development
Simone Neil has just joined A Team Merchandising in the Business Development role for WA. Simone was first involved in hardware as a merchandiser for Norton in the early 90s. As her career developed, Simone has held a number of positions in customer service, HR and sales with companies such as Telstra and Stratatel.
After some time out for study and becoming a mum Simone returned to merchandising looking after Hewlett Packard brand in electronic goods retail When the opportunity to step up to the Business Development role at A Team Merchandising came up Simone grabbed it. Simone explains “I have been impressed by the professionalism and dynamic approach of A Team Merchandising. There is a positive culture and I am glad to be part of it.”
Lyn Coghlan, A Team company director added “We are glad to have someone of the calibre of Simone join us. Her track record of excellence in customer service will ensure our continued high standards of merchandising in the hardware industry.”
Away from work Simone is a busy mum completing a degree in psychology and in her spare time she is trying to squeeze in training for the City to Surf run in Perth.

Donna Bond – Client Support
Donna Bond is an ideal match for our new client support role. Donna has been with A Team for 18 months and has had stints with other merchandising companies. Before that Donna worked full time at Bunnings so she knows “both sides of the fence”. This makes her perfectly equipped to take on the job of co-ordinating customer requirements for new stores. Donna will be combining her new part time role in the office with continued work in the field. Donna said “I have always enjoyed the variety of my job as a merchandiser and am looking forward to using what I have learnt in the field to support our valued clients”.
Donna is a fair dinkum hardware DIYer on the weekends too.
Donna, with husband Mike has taken on major house renovations over the last couple of years with bathrooms being the current project. Donna is a busy mum too with 3 kids Lauren, Joel and Page. And with a busy day to day life Donna loves to take time out to travel - the next big trip is to Thailand.

Ben Hughes races BMX and represented Australia at the World
Championships in South Africa.

Ben raced hard making the semi finals placing him number 16 in the world.
